Building a Piper PA-34 200T
The reason is why I chose to build a twin mod, when most people are building a Boeing 737 or an Airbus. What most people do when they have a Boeing sim, the program the FMC and take off and from there on the FMC does the rest. And the biggest reason is still the price. Over the years I have seen great project that people have build, also seen project that were started and then quit again.
I will show here on my site what I have done on my sim with many pictures and text. Did a bid over the years in learning to interface my flight simulator. The hardware I use is the one from Opencockpits, have to say it is the best out there. Many people think I am wrong, but once you get the hang of programming in SIOC no problem anymore. If there is something we can’t figure out, there is always Nico from www.lekseecon.nl. This guy is to cool when it comes to SIOC.
Here are a few pictures from my cockpit below. At the moment still designing a new cockpit, I will make it into a dual trainer. Have got almost all the parts for my new cockpit. But, to that later.
Also have done a lot in Opencockpits, you can see the hardware mastercard and my own designed breakout boxes. Have build lots of them, but have never counted them.
